R.S. Hanline & Company Inc., founded in 1986 in Shelby, Ohio, is one of the nation’s largest and most trusted fresh produce suppliers delivering fresh-cut value added, specialty and locally grown products to some of the most reputable food service, retail, food manufacturing and wholesale distribution companies in the United States.
Position Summary
The Logistics coordinator is responsible for building and managing all outbound shipments for multiple companies across 3 locations.
Responsibilities
- Track shipments, costs, and timeliness of deliveries
- Ensure that the quality of service provided meets required standards
- Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
- Assist with resolving shipment issues
- Work to efficiently and effectively build trucks
- Sales order management (missing orders/missing POs on orders/orders incorrectly entered)
- Manage product rejections (negotiate return rate/return ETA)
- Develop carrier scorecards (not being done currently but would be possible with additional hire)
- Helps to keep the shipping calendar up to date as changes and updates occur on a daily basis.
- Works closely with both warehouse and production departments to ensure proper transportation scheduling.
- Perform other logistics and transportation projects and duties, as assigned.

$55 - $65K
