Fresh Market Update

April 3, 2025
Tomatoes
The tomato market is continuing to increase this week with less volume available due to rainy/cooler weather and having low yields in the fields. Mexico is going to be finishing up sooner than normal on rounds so I would expect the market to stay at the current cost or even increase for the next couple of weeks. Romas seem to be having most of the demand with quality from Mexico being hit or miss and more people looking at sourcing from Florida. The Grape market is also increasing this week with low volume available. Demand has increased across the board on all tomato varieties.
